You may have seen people paddling these long boards around your local lake or even on Lake Michigan. Stand up paddle boarding, or SUP, is a fun and relaxing way to be out on the water, not to mention a great workout that builds core strength and balance. Practicing yoga on the stand up paddle board adds a whole new dimension of core challenge, and the balance and focus required will take your practice to a new level.
Imagine the sun on your face, a gentle breeze blowing across your skin, as you lift your self into upward facing dog, or floating weightlessly in savasana, fingers dipping into the cool water during your final relaxation.
This class is open to all levels, whether you are new to paddling, or new to yoga, or both. Basic paddle instruction will be given at the start of each class.
